ok sooo i have the urge to cut again...
i've tried these things..... not working..... ayone esle have any ideas how to sotp the urge? and don't say rubber band please to me thats a trigger
-hold an ice cube in your hand let it melt
- freeze an orange, after it is frozen, try squeezing it
- drawling on yourself
- taking it out on somthing else like a piece of paper, a bloock of wood (cuting)
- listen to upbeat music, something that makes you happy, don't listen to songs like the way she feels by through the trees, those types of songs will end up triggering the earge more
- don't go searching for pictures of bloody things
- and wear long sleeves cover up your own scars they can be a trigger
-call up a friend
-distract yourself
- watch tv
- go for a walk
-close your eyes, and breathe slowly
- go run!!! exercising helps. and hey it can hurt in a good wya

One thing that helps me is to put a strong rubber band on my wrist. Wear it like a bracelet. When I feel the need at all, I snap my wrist with the rubber band.

^^ Yeah that works ^^Try not to do it. The more time you cut the harder it will be to stop.

Well seeings as your trying to stop I take it just write in a journal or something watch tv. You have kinda made it hard to say anything else as it seems like you have tried most things but you just have to rely on will power a bit. X

hey guys thanx for the posts :) ahh you see i'd watch tv, but at 2:00 in the morning i really can't. i have to be in my room at 10. ad i usually never fall asleep until 3 or 4. so i read, or look up videos, but still it sometimes works, and then sometimes triggers, then sometimes just doens't do anythign. i am seriously trying to stop, so yes i'm definately going to need some serious will power.

Write. Take all your emotions everything that is bringing you down. Take it and hold it tight in a ball in your mind and write stories and poems. Let it out don't hold it in. Write down everything it doesnt even have to be about them but take those emotions and use them to construct a story so raw and pure. A story that you are connected to.

It worked for me for a while.
