So, now that mods mod everything, anytime a mod leaves, would the opening be posted for a mod for all sections?

The only extra power they have is to edit/lock/move threads outside a single section. basically, the same stuff as before. Before, though, a moderator couldn't even move a thread from, say, P101 to H&A unless they modded both sections. This eliminates those problems, but the mods are still not the same as gmods.

If a moderator is qualified to lock a bumped thread in one section, then they're qualified to do so in another. Not that that's all that the moderators do, just putting it in perspective for you.
