At my school boys and girls are showering together. A glass wall is separating us (u know one of them with blurred glass from bathrooms). There's no way I'd use open showers at school now. Fortunately we have shower cubicles, but even then I wouldn't feel comfortable.
As for public showers (such as at swimming pools), that's a different matter all together. Although I rarely get into situations where I have to use public showers, I'd quite like to try (and no, I would cover my parts up). I like the idea of being free to go completely naked in a semi-public place... and the fact that nobody would care.
But it would have to be with strangers, and preferably not the same age as me. I'm pretty self conscious.
