just got dumped

I just got dumped the other day by a girl which told me she had decided she was to young for a proper relationship and didnt want it to come between our friendship so i asked her if she wanted to come to the beach with me and this other girl we are both friends with and she told me she was going to Bali and when she got back down south and was only a few day period between coming back from Bali and going down south so i told her to call me when she was free so we could arrange it and she just said sure and said by then hung up on me im thinking she wont be calling me back that was the vibe i was getting what do you guys think ? what should i do? i should mention that i was gonna break up with her any way so i wasn't exactly heart broken but i do still like her as a friend and dont want to lose her what the best course of action? oh and thought i share this i have her a Christmas card which i then wrote my hear missed a beat when i first saw you which she really loved till she dumped me a week and a half later any ways im pretty sure she did actually really like it so you guys might wanna try it

She seems like she just needs some space and so the worst thing you could do is try to force things. Wait until she gets back from her trip and see what she does then.

Basically, take things slowly and be aware that, for the time being, the ball is in her side of the court.

by all means, don't play the waiting game. sapphire is right that the ball is on her side of the court. this is a position you dont want to be in, for all you know she could be talking to other guys and moving on, so don't get your hopes up. find another one who deserves you, but also figure out how you fucked this one up. learn from your mistakes, and fix them the first time they come around.
