why so many underwear questions?

this probably doesnt go here, but i wasnt sure where else to put it. Alot of my friends ask me, and i see on here that there are alottt of threads that are all asking guys what type of underwear they wear. is there some sort of problem im not having? i dont get it. im 15 and i wear underwear from a few diffrent brands, all of which are very comfortable. what am i not getting here?

The question that gets asked (over and over) is not about what brands of underwear people choose but about which type, do they choose, boxers, boxer briefs or briefs.

There's a big divide between those that like to hang free (boxers) and those that like some support (briefs). There's also a question that doesnt get asked really about whether people choose there underwear on the basis of what's comfortable or what fits in with the social norm where they live.

I dont care about fitting in. I wear briefs because for me they are far more comfortable and thats all that matters.
