I'm not exactly sure why I love him. He's not exactly "cute" or "hot" or "sexy" and we don't have all that much in common but he's funny and charming and nice and strange and different and not all sporty like almost every other guy I know.

I think he might be gay because before holiday break he kept doing that I'm-acting-gay-but-I'm-actually-straight-so-in-other-words-I'm-making-fun-of-gays-in-a-way-but-I-just-don't-realize-it-yet type of thing but near the end of school it started to seem like he was being serious about it. I love him.

Btw, there is a difference between hot, cute, and sexy.

I agree with this point of view, and I figure it to be almost universally valid, but the almost is a very key word there. I happen to know a person who was straight, and never seemed to be confused by it... and then out of the blue his best friend kissed him (best friend turns out to be gay). And now they've been in a relationship for some time.

So... it's not impossible. Just unlikely. :P

I agree with these. Like the second David said it is possible, but if a person is truly straight, there's a very good chance you're not going to turn them and you have no right to try to.

ive been in love with my friend joel for 3 years now. Ive never been completely sure if hes felt the same way cuz hes had a few girlfriends, but i asked him recently and he said the timing was really bad thats all. I told him i doubted he was interested but he said that he had really good self-control and for the first year he was ignorant of my feelings and the other two he was in a relationship.
