I made a promise... And im keeping it

Its a long story. But today, me and my girlfriend both made a promise. We promised that we will never cut again. No matter how strong the urge. No matter the situation. And im keeping this promise, even if it eats away at me. I will never cut again... For her... For us... Ill find another substitute, anything to keep me from self-harming :whoops:

If you haven't looked already, in one of the announcements at the top of this forum is a list of over 100 things to help you stop self harming. It comes in handy either to distract you from the urges or to help you vent emotions in a different way.

It's good your doing this with someone, someone your close too. You can both reasure and motivate one and other at difficult points. It's a great attitude to have to stop cutting. Just remember when it does get hard, don't give in!
