i read on some web site that one of the signs of puberty is having your first erection. but i remember having erections when i was 5. does this mean i was getting ready for puberty at age 5? :eek:

That website was wrong then. They have nothing to do with puberty. It's when you start ejaculating and start growing is when you are going through puberty. Little kids have erections, lol.

So no, you did not start puberty at age 5.
Usually a sure-tell sign of puberty is when you notice muscle growth, growth spurts, pubic hair development, and your voice deepening.

no... you can get erections all your life.. only what you can do with them depends on puberty... eg u could techinicly jerk at 5 just nothin would happen u wouldnt even orgasm dry
