Just wondering who accepts you, why?
Also who doesn't accept you, why?
All the people I have came out to accept it because they're good friends and understand why, a few I had to explain why before they would accept it, or they already knew via the grapevine. If I knew they wouldn't accept it I probably wouldn't tell them. For the most part the people that know but I didn't tell in general don't accept me because it's not common in a small town like mine.

I'm bisexual.
My mum accepted it but she doesn't necessarily approve. I had a group of friends when I was in school and a few of them didn't like/approve/accept it at all. The friends I have now don't appear to have any issues with it.

Well my form calss know, and some of my other friends around school know, a teacher knows, some online, and my parents...NO
At first i came out as bi in year 8 and until year 9 rumours were spread and it got out of hand, they didn't really accept me but then i learnt who my true friends were in year 10 when we had a class debate as a form class, on the topic of "Bi, Gay, Lesbians" and through that my form found out and they are supportive of me. I came out like a day after as a lesbian, and yeah some took it well, others...well no. I haven't told my parents for the fact i know they won't understand and they IMO don't need to know at this point of my life.

All the people that know are completely fine with it and weren't surprised. They're fine with it. Also my siblings know and they are also fine with it. We're dutch and our country is over filled with gays which probs makes it lots easier.

I figure since my identity is so much more than just my sexuality, why do I have to tell everyone straight away?
And to use a well-known Dr Seuss quote: "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

Most of my friends in school know, and think everyone in my GSA group knows.
As far as my family.. They are extremely Christian and actually bash gays openly at just about every family gathering.. And I already don't fit in because I don't really believe in god..
But all the people that know are totally ok with it and a few even say it strengthened our friendship :)
I'm bi btw
