I've actually had some trouble finding the right lube recently. I've been hooked on hand lotion for months, but then I learned that hand lotion, when used for masturbation, can cause testicular cancer and complicate the reproductive system (health website.) Then I tried K-Y Jelly, and I either had an allergic reaction, or the water that I added to it to make the lube actually work splashed into my urethra (either way, it caused my testicles to hurt for a few weeks!) Now I'm using Vaseline, but I've heard that it can harbor bacteria. But my doctor did recommend it as a lube.
