Help with subscriptions

Every time I post in a thread I get signed up to subscribe to them even though I don't want to. This has ended up in me getting a crazy amount of emails, is there any way to fix this?

Edit: Oh, i've fixed it now, could you delete this please? Sorry for all the hassle, i'm such an idiot!

Yes there is. you have to go to userCP at the top of your page and then go to "edit options"

Then go down the page untill you see "Messaging & Notification" then go down in that box and find "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and change it to "no email notification" or "DO not subscribe"
