So fir Christmas two days ago I have recieved my WoW Battleches I have asked for and was really excited. After one day of waiting to play because I went to my aunts for the day yesterday the 26 I have installed WoW at 730 pm. The installation took a good four hours. Around 1130 it ended. So when that was done and my battle.net account was creates I tried to put in the WoW key and it said INVALID KEY!!!!!!!! Can someone please tell me why. I tried it like 12 times and it did not work. I tries putting in the burning crusade key and it said INVALID KEY!!!! I tried both keys on three different browsers and two different computers. My desktop and my iBook g4 laptop. It still didn't work. So around 1250 am of tryig to figure out why I finally emailed Blizzard to see what was wrong. That took no more than 5 minutes to do. I'm going to try again today. If you know why it's invalid can you tell me and if you been through this process before can you tell me how to fix them like Blizzard or someone told you too. Thanks

World of Warcraft is terrible. Go play Dragon Age: Origins. You'll have a much better time.

You could be typing in a 0 (zero) instead of an O (capital letter O) or vice versa or something like that. It sounds stupid but I've done it before....

If I'm not mistaken, the Burning Crusade is an expansion to the original game. You will need to buy and install the full, original game before you can activate the Burning Crusade content.

Try talking to the WoW people about it.

You have to enter the original WoW key before you enter the burning crusade key. For the moment, just put the burning crusade disk asided until you actually get the game figured out, you won't need it yet.

Ok I want to thank everyone for help. I have figured it all out. There's one thing I want to know... WHERE ARE ALL THE PLAYERS! I played for two hours and I may only have witnessed about 25 people TOTAL playing. That's in all the realms. And I mean a total of 25. Maybe five in one realm six in another. Two in one. 8 was the most I saw in another. WHERE IS EVERYONE AT!! The box says over 11 million players and to me there's quite a bit missing.

US Tech support contact details can be found at: http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?locale=en_US&gameId=11&rootCategoryId=2316

There may be a wait time on the support due to a recent upgrade to the game been made, which has caused bugs etc but your best bet is to ring them

Thanks. I already have it taken care of. Now I want to know where those 11million players are. There's like nobody online. Read my last post I made on this. Do you know why

Head to a larger city, such as Iron Forge, or Stromwind.

Join a server which has a high population, the ones it recommends you to join are ones where they need to build up the number of people on them.

On the character selection screen, select change realm.

Also it could be because of the zone that you are in like another poster said, head to a main city. Depending on your faction Orgrimmar for horde and Stormwind for Alliance are usually busy..

Go to stormwind, and you will see hundreds of people just walking around. May have something to do with time as well, if you're playing early morning or late at night you'll see less people.
