USA to renew ties with Libya

Having renounced nuclear weapons, Libya is going to be dropped from terror list. The usa will restore normal diplomatic relations with Libya for the first time in over a quarter century after deciding to remove Moammar Gadhafi’s country from a list of state sponsors of terrorism.

i don't think were befriending Libya for oil. no country would befriend the united states on the basis of oil right now, not for a long time. we are probably try to make amends to the global community after acting like savage animals for the past 6 years.:rolleyes:
