Well, every year around Christmas my parents are always fighting. It's mostly my dad, actually. I've had to deal with it for as long as I can remember and I wish that there was something I could do to stop it. My dad always blows up if my mom spends anymore than a penny on anything Christmas related. I really think he needs to calm down and realize it's not that bad and that many, many more families spend wayy more money and are wayyy more in debt than us. I wish I could just tell him that it's the Christmas season and that I wish they would just stop arguing and fighting for atleast a day. That's all I ask: 1 day of peace. Oh and did I mention that they fight the rest of the year too? Well, mostly on Christmas but I'm just wondering if anybody else out there is having these problems aswell. I'd really love to get into the Christmas mood but it's kinda impossible when they're around. It's really just making me hate Christmas. It's always just one big fight. :/

dealing with all the things that come with being an adult and a parent can be stressful, especially around the holiday time
some people are less apt at dealing with that stress and all the emotions so they express it in frustration
try to empathize with ur parents, u can do things to help them fix their behavioral problems and to perhaps take some of the stress away
but yea unfortunately parents fighting is a very common yet hard thing to deal with, just gotta hope they can work it out and try ur best to remember that they r human too and have faults, try to be understanding and offer support/advice/help if they reach out to you (and they may not always be straight forward about it)
just do ur best and remember that its' not ur fault and it's not ur job to make their relationship work....you can only do so much
best of luck and merry x-mas :)
