Do they work? If so what kind is the best?
Would they make the scar(s) go away completely or just reduce the noticeability? If there was a really old scar that is deep but it's still raised and colored would it still work even though its not new?

My "job-to-be" just called and they're going to call again next week to set up a training day. Part of the dress code is a short sleeved shirt with their logo, the thing is though, I have scars down there. Right now, I'm just concerned about the raised and colored ones, which there's a bit of them. I want to try patches to reduce them or possibly get rid of them, with cream I'm afraid that it just might rub off.

If you have tried them..any advice would be helpful.

I would need alot of band-aides..that would make it more noticeable then the scars being there.

What do you mean? What do I think they'll do? I'm not sure, thats kind of what I'm afraid of, I'm afraid they may just be like, "well, I'm sorry but we don't want somebody with scarred arms working for us". I mean, think about it, would you really want someone that has scars up and down their arm working for you? I don't know about you, but some customers might take that the wrong way and then that would reflect on the whole store. I don't think I would have a job any longer.

but yeah if you get the neosporin patches which are like 29.99 in CVS
Is that the 'scar solution' one? If so, thats the one I've been looking at getting.

oh and btw hi heather! i've missed you! lol

The burns on your arms could be explained easy enough, tell them you got them working in a bakery, my parents used to own a grocery store I had scars from burns on my arms n chest (I was young aka small aka hard to get shit out of this oven that could seriously hold 5 bodies in it). HEY go to the doc when the store went under my mom took me to a doc and he gave me sum stuff to put on them you can barley see them, I used it again when my arm n shoulder were burned you'd never know if it was my left er right arm by looking.

I don't have many burns, and the ones I do have aern't that bad of scars. It's the cuts that are deep and the most noticable. Do you know what the doctor put on it? I'm kind of scared of doctors, I'm afraid of showing it to them and then having them send me away to a hospital. I've been there, and that part of my life is over, I really don't want to fuck up life again by going back.

if you dont want to fuck up your life by going to a hospital, perhaps you should stop fucking up your life by cutting?

I'm trying to stop..and I've been to those hospitals, I've been put on their medication, I was put under their bullshit label, I've taken their therapy..and you know what? It never helped anything. So, I took myself off of the medication, I went to my own therapy, found someone in the area, I moved in with my step-dad. Everythings better than what it used to be. It's not perfect, but nothing is, but overall everything is okay.

With cutting-I've done it for a long time now, you think I could just throw it away whenever I want? It's been there when no one else was, it was the only thing I had. I'm trying to get rid of it, but it's not that easy.

Thank you so much Cody!
