my dad just bought an '06 Silverado LT with a 6.6 Duramax and an Allison tranny! :D :D it's so comfortable. It also means that when I get my license in April, I'll have our Nissan LEAF all to myself. Pics of the Silverado:

Pic was from when it still had the previous owner's plates on it, so I wanted to cover those up.

I honestly love the car. The only issue that it really has is some brake issues (i believe it's the front pads, given that we just replaced the rear rotors today).

I have 1971 Rover P6 (2000TC) - I love her endlessly
All but the engine & radio are in original condition, even the paint - incredibly well kept. It was made when Australia used the Imperial system, so it's all in MPH, MPG, and miles. The engine was reconditioned three years ago and before I got it, it had only done 750 miles.
4 speed standard trans. (to those unfamiliar... that's manual :P ), 4 cyl. 2L carby engine.

I'll have to get some pics but I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler, it's my baby. It's got the 4.0 liter with a 5 speed, about 5.5" lift, 35" BFG's, Ford 9" rear with aftermarket shafts, disk brake upgrade, and 4:56 gears and the same up front in the stock dana 30 axle. Front and rear bumpers, winch, diff guards and gas tank skid, custom 1-ton steering, hi-lift, cheapo rock sliders I made for the sides, and a pretty decent sound system for a jeep :D
I try and steal my dads truck from him whenever I can find an excuse to, he has a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab Laramie edition with the 6.7 and every possible option. I looooove that truck *drools*

Recently replaced our Nissan Leaf with a 2004 Toyota Camry. It's a bit beat up and definitely not the coolest car on the road, but it should last me for 1-2 years:

I currently have a 2004 Toyota Camry with 202,000 miles on it. I plan on selling it once it gets to 205,000 miles and/or when I'm financially able to get a different car, because it's starting to fall apart...

My parents bought it new back in 1999 for IDK how much. Since my 16th birthday, I have sort of co-owned it. I fix it when broke, keep it clean, and pay for my gas money, but my parents handle all the other costs.
Still runs and looks like new. A few scratches here and there, and the engine has a slight oil leak, but it is without a doubt the best kept 17 year old truck in town.

Nope as it's not 100% mine but my family's mean of transport for trips and all as well. I'd love the M-Pack to be fitted as well as some light Stage 1 tune, but my parents aren't really fond of that because the M pack alone is well over 2 grand. Thing is laws don't allow for all of that replica stuff here. In the States you can do pretty much whatever to it but here, you have to get the car safety inspected at 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13.... years old, and replicas are factually illegal, which makes you fail the inspection and make the car non-road worthy, which is a shame. Tinted windows would be a great addition though which they'll hopefully agree on but we'll see

Make sure your rod bearings are replaced at around 50 thousand miles. Known issue is them basically scraping themselves to death and totaling your car. Might cost you a grand to get done but you need to get those done like if it was a wearable component like oil and fluids, clutch, etc.
other than that, I'm down right jealous. Post some videos of it!

Lol yeah rod bearings were just done recently. Like I said, my friend is overly meticulous when t comes to maintaining his cars, pretty much everything was replaced and addressed, aside from the rear subframe reinforcement

Well there may be a change in what I drive, there's a possibility I might trade my gasser F250 in on a 6.0L or 6.4L Powerstroke turbo diesel F250. Prefer the 6.4L cause compound turbos are fun but prefer 6.0L because it would probably last longer. I'm just ready to get into a diesel. I don't care as long as it's not an ancient 7.3L which are slow as hell and as long as it is a Ford.

2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i 6-speed (screw CVTs). It does what I need it to do, but something about the smallish gas tank, kinda crappy mileage, and my style of driving means I'm filling up like every 2 or 3 days.
I had a 2010 Tacoma 2.7L 5-speed but I totaled it in a really stupid way. Great truck, did everything I needed it to do and more, and made for an alright daily driver.

Currently the proud owner of a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. However, I recently realised that maybe it's time for a few upgrades for my baby. I go on a lot of road trips -- and off-road ones -- so I'm thinking of checking out tyres that will give the vehicle more traction. Checked out a few choices here and there but haven't settled for anything yet.
I'm also looking to have seat covers installed. I believe Neoprene is the best option (https://www.mycustomcar.com.au/neoprene-seat-covers) because of my lifestyle, and I want to save my seats from more wear and tear. Lastly, I'm going to be updating my sound system. For the last year, the sound has been broken and staticky and I'd want for that to be sorted out.

My 2011 Yamaha Aerox, I love it. Has a lot of tuning parts in it, won't go into detail because the list is pretty long. Doesn't run great, but I try my best to tune the carb, currently it only goes around 95 km/h.

So, HahaWaitWhat , what's the one year verdict? I'd love an M3, but after some bad BMW experiences in the past, I'm almost afraid to buy one. I bought a manual Wrangler as a graduation gift to myself and learned to drive it the day of too lol

Just wondering how you can get a Renault Clio if you're in Texas.
The US forbid everything they don't like - such as importing recent cars.
Other than that, I am too young for a car now. I just take public transportation.

I really don't understand how it could be possible. Basically only vehicles which are at least 25 years old can be imported in the US if they don't respect US regulations, which is the case of the Clio. US Customs have crushed many EDM and JDM cars imported before they were 25, such as Nissan Skylines, Land Rover Defenders and Minis. So I don't get it, unless you have found some loophole.

2001 Honda CR-V
Just bought it early this month for a pretty great deal. The interior is in great condition for a car of its age, the rest of the car, not so much. For a car of 150,000+ miles, most things that should have been replaced by now haven't been. Brakes, struts, control-arms, muffler/resonator, tires, and a handful of smaller things like filters, fluids, and gaskets need attention. I've already replaced the whole braking system (first time doing drums, those were a pain :() and the muffler/resonator. This weekend I'm hoping to knock out both the struts and the control arms, just so I can finally be done with the underside of the vehicle.
The steering and general running of the engine is actually pretty good, though I'm still planning a throttle body cleaning and new spark plugs. The previous owner replaced the belts and the cooling system, so I don't need to touch those. The exterior isn't half bad either, some waxing, touch-up paint, and trim restorer should get it looking quite good for a 19 year-old vehicle. By the end of summer I hope to get it in near-new condition. It'll be a fun project. :D

Well, dad gave it to my big sis Megan originally when she turned 16, so I was 12....... we have a really big back yard, prolly a couple of acres or more so I started driving it right away and learning how to shift gears. By the time I got old enough to take driver training and the driving test, I had prolly put hundreds of miles on it myself driving around our yard, including a few times I will admit to taking it out on the streets of our small town. I'm not at all concerned about crashing. More concerned about blowing up something expensive and not having the money to fix it.
