2003 Ford Ranger Ext. Cab 4.0L 262ci 4x4 5 Speed, 30" 4.0 Wrangler tires, fabricated side exhaust no muffler (I like it loud), Baer pads and drilled rotors, B&M AirFlow filter, Ford Racing charger, 4 12" subs in the back and 2 6" subs in each door, Beilstien shocks, struts and springs.
I'll post a picture as soon as i can figure out how to.
425Hp
It's nice but it took a lot of time and even more money.
It also has a custom painted tail gate, 2 bucket seats with a fold down console (rigged up bench seat) fogged out tail lights, receiver hitch, custom steering wheel and shifter, and an Alpine DD47 drop down (spinning) radio, RK diamond plate SS toolbox and off-road chicken lights on the front bumper.
I bought it for $2,000
I've put about $10,000 dollars into it.
No window tint though, I don't like window tint.
It's supposed to seat 5, mine seats 3 because of the box in the back.
I had it going almost 120 on I-64.

I'd love to try driving that through a traffic jam in New York . . . just to see the outrage on the cab drivers' faces as it nips into spaces far too small for them! unfortunately I don't live in new york :/
Actually that was a lie too, I realy drive a wooden plant with a wheel attached at the center. i'm thinking of attaching rockets to it.
EDIT: Don't attach rockets to a wooden plank with a wheel on it, it ends with a serious beating by a rocket poweres monobard (Skateboard with only one wheel)
So I drive my legs.

1973 Chevy Caprice 454 v8 TH400 -- 99% origional. Was my grandmas, it broke down and was put under a shed for 11 years, I fixed it and now drive it :)
I love the 454's, what a dime of a motor.
Never knew Caprices came with a 454, that's awesome

Current car (I don't drive yet but hope to get it soon) is a 2000 model Citroen Xantia V6 24 Valve, Piston suspension tops at 240kmph and is a pretty lovely car. A little much on its maintenance lol.
But it looks like my first car is the Citroen C1 or maybe a C3. :P
I would like to get a Ford Focus, one of the newer ones or perhaps a 1970s Chevy Camero lol

Yeah, they're rare but it was an option :) . We were the second owner of the car, and I found out that the first owner got it with the 454 and 4.10's in the ass end so that he could pull his boat to the lake with it. I tested it out with the same load as my dad's 91 Chev 2500 and I smoked him

I daily a 1997 Subaru Legacy with a full STI swap, custom built engine though...so it's supercharged >:D
Then I have a 1949 Chevrolet C3100 Pickup, fully restored
And then the other ones I drive often is my sister's 2013 Mercedes G63 AMG, and my girlfriend's 2008 Audi RS4.
They're all pretty fun cars...the Subaru looks pretty much stock except wheels and tinted windows, nobody expects it to throw down 450hp...It's awesome.

I have... or should I say had, my dad's old '98 Mercury Mystique. The transmission went out for the 3rd time (once w/ original owner, twice w/ us) so I think I'm going to give up on it... it's got some 140,000 miles and I'm not paying for a new transmission for this old crappy thing. I'm going to start saving up for something else... hopefully I'll have enough to buy a decent car in a couple of months...

I drove a White Mercury Sable premier. .... until my mom crashed it on vacation... I loved that car!
It was big and had safety pic of the year! All the fun options and it was Big and leather seats and roomy and SAFE!!! It actually saved my mums life and mine, it was really a bad accident. It rolled big time like a car in the movies witnesses said. The officer said if we had had a smaller car we'd be dead or vegtablized for life.
I would get another Sable. It was a great car. Other ways I think I'd drive a truck for safety reasons after that accident. I'm terrified of driving small cars!

I've ended up getting a '00 Mazda Protege LS. Swapped the 1.8L I4 for a 2.5L V6 KL-ZE. I need to take apart and rebuild the tranny. Plans for the future; turbo charger, MSP5 body kit, sleeper exhaust, new paint(burnt orange), interior makeover of black leather, chrome, dark wood, and blue mood lighting, new rims, blue calipers, other little bobs and bits and tunes. The most exciting will be rebuilding the electronics computer with arduino and connecting that to a custom android app that'll let me do all kinds of fun things with the car remotely.

I currently don't have a *working* car, but I've been saving up pennies for months...
If I stay on my parents' good side, they'll help me purchase a a new 2014 Hyundai Elantra... it's decent-looking, decently-priced, gets a decent MPG (important because I'll be commuting to school), also the 100,000/10-year warranty sounds nice.

I drive a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT because I absolutely love the design and simplicity of the car. There isn't anything weird about it. Everything's straight forward. Oh, and its 3800 V6 is practically bullet proof.

I usually take the bus, but I sometimes drive my dad's Nissan LEAF. I guess he bought it because:
1) our old Hyundai was starting to fall to pieces (the paint was very bad, the clutch had to be replaced, interior started to tear),
2) it was affordable to lease
3) It saves us on money since my grandparents pay our electricity bill

I drive a 1996 Subaru Outback. Why? Because Subaru's are reliable and last a long time (almost at 237,000 miles), its fun in the winter, and the all wheel drive makes it a breeze driving through snow, mud, dirt, etc. It has been giving me problems since I bought it, but what can you expect from an 18 year old car though

I have a 2007 Audi RS4.
I bought it because I drove it and fell in love. I worked hard and was in on starting a business with my boyfriend. Started off quickly, made some money, bought the Audi. That "simple"

2007 Holden VE Commodore.
It was my Dad's old car and he said if I saved up enough I could buy it off him.
It looks like this, but the windows are tinted (I didn't do that, it was already like that haha)

My parents didn't give me a penny for my car I had to earn my money through being a very lucky person and getting a very high paying assistance job in NYC at my friends job:cool:

Its good to see someone who actually worked to buy a nice car. I go to a private school and its ridiculous as to what cars some kids gets just because their parents can afford them - a close friend of mine got his dad's 'old' 2011 BMW M5, wrecked it, and 1 week later got a new BMW 3-series. What.

Dude, Range Rovers are like 60 grand and over. How will you get your own? I mean unless you're filthy rich, it doesn't seem like very practical first car. Ph, and Charliehorse was kidding about the McLaren. He usually comes to this thread to pick on people for having big engines that have a bad carbon footprint.

Ahh ok makes sense, my parents work for Lockheed and I've saved about 15,000 dollars so with what I save and what my parents help out I could get a nice used one or I'll just get my moms.

Ohhh okay, gotcha. Something to look out for though. Unless you get a Rover made 2010 or after, you could have a lot of electrical issues. That's the reason why you can get a Sport HSE for like 20 grand with only 60,000 miles on it. An expensive SUV that has windows that has windows that don't work and a radio that randomly shuts off decreases the value quickly. I'm not trying to be that asshole that rips on people's car choices, it's just that I was also looking at used Range Rovers and got steered away when like every auto salesman I talked to said that they are known to have wiring faults.
Keep in mind that your first car doesn't have to be really fancy. I bought an 02 Grand Prix for 6 grand and I like everything about it.

Yeah the rover wasn't the only idea, Acura MDX was one, and some others. The thing is I need a trunk that is wide enough to swallow one or two golf bags. That's why my moms Range Rover is appealing as it's big enough to do that. It's a 2014 model so reliability is unknown.

Dude, no way! I got extremely close to getting an MDX. Acura all together is awesome because it's basically a Honda and Honda is extremely Reliable. Have you ever thought of getting a Cadillac Escelade from the Early 2000's? They range from 5 to 25 grand used. Other than gas prices, they are great. The level of luxury is in the tier with upscale Luxury makes like Land Rover.

For me personally the Escalade has a pimp reputation to it and that's the last thing I want, I was also looking at X5's which are compelling because I do know they can fit the golf bags.

I was looking at those too but couldn't find any under 20 grand that had less than 150,000 miles in my area.
