Well recently I told one of my best friends mike that I cut. I trusted him and excpected him not to tell anybody. He said that he hates it but he wants to help me stop. Then a few days ago I found out that he told my friend Briana. And I was really pissed off. He said he just didn't because he cares about me and loves me to death.
I'm still kind of angry about this, do you think I should just let it go if he did it because he cares?
And another thing is I do not really see how telling Briana helps anything with me..

Like you said he cared about you so i don't think you should blame him.
Letting your friend know doesn't help you but it doesn't do much harm anyway, i don't think you should be mad about anything. And its not like he promised you not to tell anybody he probably told your friend because he feels that your friend should know about this.

Still, i don't think you should be mad about this.

Oh well actually i left out that he did promise me . Thats why it made me so angry if he didnt promise me then i wouldnt get mad at him for telling.

I think he shouldnt of told anyone but he cares about you and so hes obviously worried about you and felt like he needed to talk to someone about this. He thought that maybe if he tells this person then you might get more help and support. But remember next time be careful who you tell coz what happened to me was i told three people then my tutor teacher found out and nearly my whole yrar found out i was cutting and burning and quite alot of people no i smoke and you dont want that happening to you. also i want you to consider getting help so it wont go any further coz i tryed commiting suicide twice and i dont want anything happening bad to you as you will have a brill future. Get help with this and dont go down to hard with your best friend.

i had the same problem i told a friend i was goin to kill my self well he told a nother person and then it got around to my mom and dad
