According to this website:
The Vigilant Citizen (http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=2969)
Many of the top ranked artists have sold their soul to the Devil, belong to secret cults, and show their symbolism in their videos, lyrics, and propaganda.

Artists that are included in this are, Jay-z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, though many more show "signs" that it's not just them.

Do you think this is real or not?
Is it brainwashing or are people being brainwashed into believing something that is mere "coincidence"?

I recommend you look around the site to fully understand this, before you make an opinion of "O, My, Gee... That's lies"

Hard to say from that article because it only analyzes one gesture while ignoring all others. From that one single analysis, it attempts to conclude that people are likely to be demonstrating something else or belong to a secret group. I find the evidence presented to be inadequate to support the argument and burden of proof.

What I think is real is that people use various gestures to mean different things and the article provides good support for that, however, to then argue that the people who do these gestures belong to a certain group based solely on the signs they do is where it falls short. Furthermore, to argue that these people "sell their soul to the Devil" through these actions is even less supported because it's an inference of something ambiguous. It gave an example of Ne-Yo and a song he wrote, and him doing the "A-OK sign". That's a feeble argument because it's grabbing two completely different things, both of which require inferences and then bringing them together through an additional inference. The article ignores that possibility that the two (the song and sign) are unrelated and independent upon one another by analyzing the meaning of the song and analyzing the immense ambiguity of the sign, and concluding that since the same person is doing both, then they are very likely to be related. That's not sufficient evidence nor argument for me. It's like saying that since I wear small hiking boots and slightly baggy, insulated quick-dry pants sometimes that I must then live out in the boon-dogs or marsh area. That's false as there's no marsh around here nor is it the boon-dogs.

I do agree that the artists do use certain stimuli to advertise themselves or to advertise something else but that's an argument that's much better argued through additional evidence.

Quite obviously, celebrities are not signing themselves to the Devil. Hand gestures don't have to have a Satanic meaning behind them.

As a fellow musician, I going to have to say that those statements are false accusations in a dessprate attempt to have coverage on a story. Music is an art. The lyrics, style, and what is shown in their music videos are most likely not expressions of evil or evidence of cult activities, but is their creative right as an artist.

I read that and laughed. Most of it doesn't even make sense.

I laughed especially at the part where T-pains 'thr33 ringz' means 666. What. The. Fuck?

Oh, and the bit where Hayley Williams holds a love heart over her eye. Apparently, the fact that she didn't want to cover it with her other fingers makes her a devil worshipper.

These people really need to get over themselves.

i have read up on it on numerous times and i have seen proof that most celebrities have in fact sold their souls to the devil and to me its not impossible and i'm not suprised. Most persons doesn't want to believe it because they do not know god as their personal lord or savior. If its not true its still wrong to listen to those none christian songs and i am glad someone brought it up.
