I'm assuming that your convoluted mess is a way of getting at the idea of weed being a "gateway drug". This is false because although some people may try weed then go to "harder" drugs, that does not mean weed caused them to go to the other drugs.

Not directly. But indirectly it does. It is the will of the person that determines if they succumb to more drugs.

1. There is no actual evidence to prove that weed leads to further, harder drugs. Look it up if you dont believe me.
2. People who smoke weed usually do so for recreational reasons (stress relief, pain release ect) not because they are fixated drug users with no proper life or job.
3. It hardly contributes to the drug trade of a nation because of the obvious effort of trying to import it. Imagine importing £10,000 worth of marijuana, then imagine importing £10,000 worth of cocaine...which one do you think is the most conspicuous?

All facts. Dont bother using opinions or personal experiences against it.

a talk person came to my school with stats on the gateway drug .. it is pot BUT only 26% use it has a gateway so therefor its better to say you may try other drugs and not you will try other drugs .. right ?

Just to make sure everyone knows. Anything you hear about weed from your school or any other government funded source is lying to you. It's called propaganda, children, and it is not to be trusted. There is no harm in smoking weed.

Much of what is said by official (government/non-research academic) sources is most certainly nonsense, but to say that everything is untrustworthy is equally nonsense.
