im worried...

well few months ago
i started coughing up yellow solid stuff from my throat
and it smells really bad
and i started having lumps on side of my neck
i hear that lumps are sign of cancer
and it worries me so much
my parents say it's nothing
but i wanna make sure
what do you think?

i would get that checked out, now i am not a medical person or anything but the fact that you are coughing up yellow stuff sounds like you could have an infection there or something. now i dont think it would be cancer, but i think it would be worth having a doctor just check it over, even just to put your own mind at rest.

yellow and solid mucus... i had that once before when i accidentally swollowed a fly. i caught fever on the next day and whats worse is now i can't eat too much sweets or i'll start getting a lot of mucus again. so i would get that checked out, especially the lump.

The lump is nothing. It's just a gland on your neck. I've had one for 3 years, and I haven't been diagnosed with cancer. If it's inside your skin, your fine. If there's a mark on the outside, you should go to a doctor.

Edit: I highly doubt you would have cancer at this age anyway
