ok..so i thought at first its cause of my monthly cycles...but..it now seems more then just that..
ALL OF A SUDDEN i feel like crying like hell....
i donno why...as in..my life is all smooth..everythings great..i have no regrets no nothing...but the urge to cry..out of blue...without any reason is kinda unnerving...

what should i do???

is it something i should share with my mom dad..i think they'll just tell me that i am plain crazy to think i m into depression or something...and am just imagining diseases... :(

share with mom and dad i think, and im not sure about the crying, if your life is going good and all. but you should try to approach your parents and explain it to them.

Two crucial questions that you need to ask yourself. Perhaps it could provide some insight into possible approaches to take.

How severely is this experience impacting your ability to have a normal, functioning life? Has it been unhealthily warping your perceptions of the world?

Are you able to cope effectively at this time, or do you think professional help would be necessary in order to stay safe and sane?

Remember, no one has the capacity for understanding your situation more thoroughly than yourself. Regardless of what others say if and when you decide to share this information with them, it is you alone in the end that knows most clearly and directly. All will become easier to recognize, when the stress and confusion subsides.

You are the only one who knows whether or not you have the ability to healthily cope with the experience at hand.

Things happen, at times, without any apparent reason. Regardless of why it came to be, the more important question is how to deal with it. Because each person and their situation is different, the most suitable approach is something that you will have to find out for yourself. Professional advice, in most cases, is a safe bet to place.

u know i have actualy told my mom..but shes saying u have no pressures..we dont presurise to get good grades...we have no such high expectations for u to fulfill...and everythings going fine..there is no reason to be depressed..be relaxed and chill...u most probably just thinking a lot..nothing more..(being very understanding and all..dont judge her for not taking it realy seriously..i think some1 saying themselves they might have depression might have caught her off gaurd..!!)

but i just wanted to know one plain thing...crying for small issues..or no issues at all..or even building up issues(like what if in future this happens that hapens..n crying for that..!!) is WRONG???? as in..it shows i m having something wrong with my brain.. =((

and is it some sorta known type of depression..if in case it is...

If you really are that concerned, perhaps you should consult a professional. Perhaps through your school counselor - there are ways to reach someone without explicit parental consent.

I've been told that the most important consideration while making a diagnoses, is whether or not the symptoms are severe enough to noticeably impact one's daily life and/or perceptions of the world. But I could be wrong.
