The Wii will change everything wii know about gaming :)

360 is obviously going to be the best as the Wii will be poor and the PS3 will be slightly less poor and way more expensive :)

Poor eh? Well, to say the least, poor people could actually afford such a thing. And it will beast the PS3 and the XBox 360 :D You know at E3, Sony announced that they had put motion sensitivity into their controllers (or they would)... guess where they got the idea :) This probably means that Sony wants to be able to port games from the Wii over to the PS3. I doubt their sensitivity will be as good as Nintendo's though - considering Nintendo had this in the making for a while. As the Wii's code name showed, it will revolutionize gameplay :)

I doubt poor people could afford to buy any of those consoles and theres no way the Wii will be $99 that is way too cheap for a console.

Nintendo's consoles have always been cheaper than the competition. I'm a 360 person all the way. 8)

$99 dollars is the lowest it will be, they still have not decided on a price, though they have a price range $99-$199

it will probably be somewhere in the middle, but i doubt it

i personally like the wii. i have xbox 360(and i got it recently) so i dont expect to be getting another console anytime soon.....

1 really good thing i like is PS3 has free mulitplayer, and on xbox you have to pay so i guess thats good.....

Everyone one of my friends has definite sides with either Sony or Microsoft, however, everyone of them says that they want to get a combination of either the PS3 or an XBox 360 (pending on their liking) along with the Wii. It's going to be great. How revolutionary have game consoles been since the N64? The only thing has been different was graphics. That's all. And that's sad. The Wii will change that completely. It will bring all age groups together, along with all sexes, races, and religions - since Nintendo has amazing games mostly without extreme violence or prejudice or even complication. I'm sure we can agree with this. The Wii's controller is completely revolutionized! It can play any Nintendo game ever made, plus it has out-of-this-world motion sensitivity. You know what else? It breaks the inconvenience of being left-handed or right-handed - the controller can be switched between hands and work the exact same!

Nintendo is truly an amazing company. With that said, I give Nintendo (and the Wii) great acclaim. :D

That controller looks awfull for anything other than stupid fishing games or gimmicks like that and those games suck anyways..
Also the PS3 one looks stupid, how the hell are you gonna hold it?!
I don't want a controller that will bring lots of people together, I want one that pleases me, which the 360 does :)

Well... the PS3 controller is the same as the PS2, except with the new *Stolen from Nintendo* motion sensativity. They did away with the boomerang design. The PS3 is the most powerful console, the 360 the second, and the Wii the last. I am a Sony/Nintendo person. I hate Microsoft with a deep passion. I find it ironic that I have a friend who hates the 360, yet idolizes Windows, and pirates their software. I guess brand-loyalty runs high. I plan to buy a PS3 (might have to get a second job) and a Wii.

I love the playstation, i hate the 360, i like winodws..sony have the best choice of games for my liking and i like the controller layout, the xbobx has too much on the controller to acess easily... the ps3 will be more powerful than the 360 no doubt

Not "will be". IS. It is a fact that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360. It is relavent to talk about the specs. of two companies that tried to go after nothing more than a higher polygon count. The Wii is just about the games. I hope that they will break their kiddy image, though, and come out with some more Hunter the reckoning titles. RED STEEL is going to OWN. And I would like to state for the record that Opera browser will be used on the Wii.

Yes, it's fairly easy to hate the XBox 360 and to like Windows. Making a deal out of that is just like saying "My friend hates vanilla ice cream but loves chocolate ice cream! That's ironic! Wreaeahehaiah!" If someone hates the XBox 360 (and/or the XBox) it doesn't mean that they have to hate Windows, nor does it mean that he/she has to idolize Macintosh/Linux.

Anyway... Tim, you seem very open minded towards change :P Personally, I'd be afraid to get an XBox 360, after how much Microsoft completely screwed up the first batch. Could you imagine how angry some of the people got when they noticed smoke coming from their XBox 360? Oh, and the joy of the laser that actually ate away at game discs. If I spent some $50-$60 on a new XBox 360 game and only to have it trashed by the console itself, I'd form some kind of big riot and destroy Wal-Mart (or try -_-)...

The Wii's controller, however, is amazing. I admit, it didn't appeal to me (at all) when I first saw it. But this opens up so many new options. Current games will go with it - and most have already become excited about it - and non-gamers will become attracted to it, as everyone has used a remote, or a phone... It's just like that. Fit's in your hand nicely too. Just give it some time, eh Tim? :)

Yeah I don't take change to well..
I'm pretty sure the 360 has better specs than what the PS3 will from what I read a while back :|
But yeah I had an original XBOX and loved it, so getting a 360 after seemed the best thing to do.

Anytime :D

Though seriously, I think everyone can agree that Nintendo spared no expense for that conference! Look at where it was held. O_O And then there's so much more that has to cost a fortune - like the stage, that huge stage add-on with Nintendo logo, the lighting, etc.
