I think its perfectly normal to fancy someone whatever the situation. Sure it makes it a lot greater if your good friends and can trust someone but as many people will tell you it can ruin the friendship pretty damn fast.
I havnt really got a clue how instruct you personally because everyone reacts differently. Maybe just hint at it though? Or a dare... That can usually be quite harmless and end up leading to maybe something more..

Again though, think carefully about what you want.. Is this guys trust and friendship worth losing just because you fancy him? There are plenty of other people out there like that..

Btw I always get attracted to my bm's too soo its perfectly normal I think. =D
