Hi Guys, have you been to an online virtual world?
If yes, what type of virtual world had you been to? 3D or 2D? Educational, Action RPG or etc?
If no, why not?
And what do you like and dislike of virtual world? :what:

I second that! It's more for work and virtual office. Mircosoft, IBM and etc are using them for work purposes. :D

May I know which roleplaying virtual world? :)

Most of the time it is really because of people around us are playing that got us into it!

Don't judge me. When I was 9 I saw an IMVU ad. I was like. OOO. Let me see what this could be. Well to my amazement, my thoughts were terribly wrong. I don't even want to say what I experienced.
I play World of Warcraft.

The 'furni game' was pretty fun I thought but not long lasting. :D

WOW is one of my all time classic but I wouldn't pay for it though unless it's one time payment (pricing is a factor too) for a life time usage, free upgrades/updates.

THERE seems to be quite popular but to me it's just another Second Life. :P

Furni games sucked if you didn't have anything for P2P. Even the ones offering free furni were ripoffs. I joined back in 2007, the glory days! Ah, many good memories :P

I had played Runescape, Maple story (got sick of it eventually) and Guild wars (paid for this but regretted).

I believe we still live the real life well enough even though we're playing virtual worlds. :yummy:

Not many people do this. They become addicted to these virtual worlds and eventually stop caring about real life. It's a serious problem and a sad one at that.

Yeah, I was referring to the people who had participated in this thread though (hopefully they are not addicted!). :D
I do know people who are addicted to virtual world (or gaming). Some of them spent most (or all) of their time in cyber cafe (or LAN shop) and neglecting other things in life. I would say "totally wasted". Sad but true. :(

I tried IMVU and Second Life, I didn't like either. IMVU is filled with foreign chatrooms and barely anybody speaks English - that or they're just plain creepy (no offense if anyone here uses it, I'm just going off of the people that I've talked to on there) and Second Life is so confusing and wasn't much fun.
overcome.

FPS - Unreal Tournament '99.
I played in 'clans' there from around 13 years old until I was 18. Good memories, had a lot of fun doing so, met tonnes of people and enjoyed the game itself. No regrets there, many hours spend gaming.

If runescape counts... then Runescape. Not so much anymore, might get back into it.
(Not to be boring) I've heard that various things have went up in price, might be rich now :)...

Anyone played or still playing Counter Strike? It's one of my all time classic. Personally I considered this as a virtual world too. :D
I played Guildwar too but stopped when all my characters were level 20 (I think that was the max level).
Anyway I noticed many of us played Runescape. :D

Mhm...I'm not that addicted to WoW...I just play it for a while...You'd be surprised how many people play WoW and admit they're addicted... I played Runescape when I was 11 but quit pretty quick...Uhh I don't think Sacred counts....Uhm....Might be playing Baldur's Gate soon...Uhh....I can't think of anymore at the moment..

Hi TootsiePop,
I played WoW too and I must agree with you that it's addictive, especially to male players!
Oh yeah, let me know about Baldur's Gate when you do. Thanks! :)
