14, average boy, oily skin from my father
very lightly active,a lot of hair, bathe everyday (I tilt backwards when shampooing not to get the stuff on my head)
Acne's all over my forehead but no where else
I use "AcneFree oil free purifying Clenser" morning and night, I scrub lightly on the area for two to three minutes
I have been doing this for a month now and my acnes are not disappearing at all
I noticed a lighter shade in them but then they come back
There not going away!!! and it is really wearing down on my confidence :S
any advices on how to get rid of em and if not how to bear with em?

I have severe acne. I noticed that while i ran CrossCountry, I had no acne-but since I stopped my acne is becoming worse. Most likely in your case you might have to cut your hair a bit by your forehead until it goes away. Dont let it wear down your confidence, yours is most likely unseen by anyone other than youself. In my case though, I have relatively short hair, therefore everyone can see my ance.

I've had acne since late 6th grade through the early 9th grade. 6th through 7th grade I only used one acne cleanser, and it didn't work well. 8th grade I used the same cleanser but with a tinted treatment spot, put a light layer around my face, and it dissapeared within 3 months.

ok, im not a guy, but i hope i can help. washing evry night is really bad actually, just like hair, skin becomes oily from excessive washing. Try using toner evry nite, and scrubing evry morning. Or even try proactive!!!! it does work actually! hope this helps

It helps if you eat things that are good for you instead of junk.

If nothing over-the-counter is working or it takes too long, ask your doctor what to do. There is something for everyone when it comes to acne that your doctor can prescribe.

agreed, i used to have terrible acne and nothing over-the-counter worked. i went to the dermatologist and he gave me some prescribed lotion and an antibiotic, worked like a charm

Alot of the problem is actually from irritation caused by stuff you put on. Skin can be really sensitive especially during puberty, so its best to wash using only water. I also recommend drinking a lot of water each day (like 8+) as it helps flush out your system. Lay back off sugar drinks like Coke/Pepsi or w/e as these can be pretty bad for your skin; not to mention your teeth!
As some other guy mentioned moderate exercise can also help but make sure you have a shower and wash any sweat off.
Hope that helps!

this may be extreme, but go to a dermatologist and go on accutane. it's pretty harsh, but it will really take care of the problem....trust me

i've been noticing good results using several differant types of face wash. i use a strong wash one day like Oxy face scrub or this new really strong Clean and clear stuff, then the next day i would use a gentle face wash like Simple. i've noticed that with my skin that if i stick to one wash my face becomes immune so changing from strong to soft differant brand face washes, my acne is almost all gone.
