Cold Sweats and Nightmares

As I lay hear and my eyes sleep
I fall into a dream so deep
That I can’t get myself out
I have let the story play out
First I see your eyes
Behind the purple cloudy skies
The sun is smiling like you know

Soon the tears fall down
Your face soon hits the ground
The blood rushes everywhere
I run to you but I don’t go far
The distance keeps pulling me apart
Soon I can tire myself now more

I see the face of your murderous blade
His eyes are dark with an evil glow
Standing hear the soft meadows disappear
The ground is shifting and we are alone
Me and your killer in this grey box home
The walls and floor are nothing but sorry
The ceiling above shows me how things go

He shows me how he followed
How he watched you closely
Breaking down your barriers
Till you let him in slowly
Soon as he was close enough
He raised his blade and made a cut
And you bled out….

Waking up I cried so hard
This dream to me was now a nightmare
Stuck inside my head every time I see you
Playing like a record that just keeps skipping
I keep on seeing how you got you from me
Now I’ll never let you go….

Because cold sweats and nightmares
Have taken all my dreams
