Infraction Points and Icon Glossary and Rep

I realize that if you get too many infaction points you get banned but what do they do? How can you find out if you have any?

Is there an icon glossary on this site? There is some icons that I have no idea what they mean.

Does rep do anything?

You can view your infractions in your User CP. If you get a certain amount, then your account will have some restrictions.

Rep is just something other users give if they like or dislike a certain post of yours. But it's just a little thing. Nothing important.

You can view your infractions in your profile or your UserCP. I've never had one, and as a mod I can see them anyways, so I'm not 100%. Lawrence says UserCP though, so I'll take his word for it. xP This tells you how many points the infraction is worth, and the date when it will be completely expired.

I'm not sure about an icon glossary. Which ones are you confused on?

By the quote multi and quick buttons there is a man with a speech bubble and next to some threads there is a little blue arrow in the same area where it shows if you have posted in that thread. And also thank you to the both of you and if anyone else put something right before I posted this.

The little man is the "blog this post" button. If you click it, it takes you to the page where you create a new blog and has the selected post already quoted for you.

The blue arrow... where is it, exactly? Is it in the blue area between the thread title and the area with the little envelope icon? In there, those are just icons that you can add to your thread when you make it, or to individual posts. I added a smiley face to this post, see? Under where you type your thread in (you have to go to advanced mode to see this when replying to a thread versus starting a new one) it says "Post Icons" and has a few options. There's a greenish arrow as one of them. Is that what you're talking about?

would put a picture but I am using my ipod right now. Right where it shows you if you posted in that thread next to it or if you haven't posted in that thread where that icon would be is where the arrow is. It points diagonally up and to the left.

Well, I can tell you what happens when you reach 60 infraction points.

-posts must be approved
-edit function disabled
-no pictures allowed in signature
-smaller avatar picture
-no negative rep function

That's all I can think of/noticed so far.
