It always pops up but I don't notice anything else happen.

I can tell you it normally run's, but when not running it seem's to have no change in how the computer works, other than that I have no Idea

"Svchost.exe" (Host Process for Windows Services) is an integral part of Windows OS. The process manages DLLs and other services. At startup, Svchost.exe checks the services portion of the registry and constructs a list of services that it needs to load. Under normal conditions, multiple instances of Svchost.exe will be running simultaneously. Basically, something on your computer is causing the host process (The process that basically controls all the other processes) to quit working.
A number of things can cause it to stop working, from viruses, to an outdated program, to a corrupted file.
