Yeah its really true growing up around lightly put ''bad/strange'' environments I never even tried a single drug in my life, of course having older friends, uncles promising to break my legs if I ever start smoking also kept me from trying (always suspected that drugs would = broken kneecaps and that would really really hurt)..

Also you should know that kids of any age like to hype things up more than they are worth and that especially applies to the things they've ''done'' i.e drugs, alcohol, sex etc etc.

A lot of the kids who brag they've done this or that are just little s*its trying to look cool, even if you live somewhere crime & drug infested.

I've drank some alcohol before but I rarely drink it now. If I do, it's if there is some big get-together and some people may be drinking but I don't intend on getting to a point where I'm too impaired. I've been there before a few times and it wasn't all that pleasurable so I avoid getting to that point.

Regarding weed, I've never tried it nor do I particularly want to. I know people who do and people have asked me but I have no reason to.

I found instead of doing the substances, I'd much rather learn about them, their effects, etc... . To me that's more interesting than being on the substances and it has a practical purpose.

I will admit though that I do like energy drinks, especially when it comes to large tests, papers, labs, exams, etc... . May not be the healthiest idea but I don't drink them a lot and when I do it's usually 1-2 of them.

The student house I was in last year was horrendous with regards to drugs. They were all getting off their faces everyday day after taking all sorts of drugs. Most days it was skunk. Some days it was roofies. Others it was ket - they would even use the only teaspoon left to mix it and not wash it afterward. Their idea of a good time was to get off their faces and just flop on the sofas watching tv. One of them had even got fat because of the munchies and two of them looked like they were twenty years older than they actually are.
Unsurprisingly, I've now got a finely tuned nose for cannabis and its variants.

Alcohol is where it's at for me tbh.

There are kinds of people who want to explore different things in life, and they'll explore drugs too. However, there's a considerbly larger amount of people from my point of view, that just drink and smoke weed because in their warped minds it makes them look 'good'. I agree with what somebody else said when they said these things are overated. I believe that too.

did u know that weed can reduce your REM(rapid eye movement) during sleep? which makes dreams less vivid or not exist at all, however... on the days that you don't smoke, a stoner's REM exceeds normal non-smokers sometimes making dreams extremely vivid and realistic. this effect is called "REM rebound"

i smoked weed a lot unfortunately, i have since quit and my mind feels a lot more clear and i can actually do thought processes. there's plenty of research studies that prove it destroys your memory, i've felt those effects from how long i've used it. my advice to anyone who does smoke is to either quit or don't do it very often. it's considered a drug for a reason.

Im pretty sure if you try it once... None of this will happen. And smoking weed and smelling like shit are completely unrelated. And weed is unrelated to those other drugs as well.. Legally in all industrialized countries, a teacher cannot be a teacher if he smokes weed.

In California, drug testing is required for virtually ever job I've ever applied for (this includes McDonalds and everywhere else)...they do not hire people with marijuana. Most places are also switching to hair follicle tests because it shows marijuana use for much, much longer than a urine test.

Yes, but it wasn't my choice, I was 5 years old, I didn't even know what it was, but they told me to smoke it to feel better. I did until I was about 8 when I realized what it really was. Never have since even though it's smoked by people all around me all the time.

I smoke weed every day. I smell fine, I've never done heroin or coke, I only smoke weed and I drink once every two months. I can smoke weed every day for a month or two and I never get any withdrawal effects. As soon as I stop I feel dead sober (I feel dead sober even 3 hours after a smoke, very few residual effects) and never get any withdrawal effects. No trouble falling asleep, no irritability, no headaches, the only difference is I think about smoking weed more. I get good grades, I'm still smart, I can make conversation just as good as ever and I could probably make your grandparents think I was a nice young man. The reason I smoke weed is because it's great. I could say that there are a multitude of reasons, but honestly, for me it's just great. It makes me think about the world, it makes me laugh, it makes me curl up my fingers to look like a spaceship and then do banked turns, it makes time pass slower, and it gives me a feeling of contentment. It doesn't just make me happy in a simple, shallow sense, it makes me think about everything in my life and the entire world, and I think it's all okay. No, I don't have a terrible abusive life where I'm depressed all the time, I'm not trying to get away from "real life", I'm normally a happy guy but weed just makes me feel even better. I count myself one of the lucky ones, marijuana affects everyone differently, I've smoked with my older brother before and after two hits he started coughing and then just left, he told me later he had a really bad experience afterwards. It's not for everyone, but for what it's worth I've been smoking off and on for two years and have never had anything but the most positive experiences. I'm generally an unmotivated person, but when I smoke I have rare moments of inspiration and motivation. I don't know what the point of this whole post is, I guess just to tell you that weed isn't always bad, and that lots of normal people use it, I've never made a hat out of beef, mailed letters to Pluto or stolen from family members, I've eaten a sandwich and considered where all the ingredients came from while listening to music, and you know what, I loved every minute of it. Weed is one of my favorite things in my life, I don't see myself stopping anytime soon but if it ever stops being fun or enjoyable I won't hesitate to drop it like a hot potato (although I would probably try it a couple of months later just to be sure :P)

well, I've tried most of them. cannabis (obviously) LSD, mescaline, psylocybin, DMT, NO2, salvia, mdma, mda, mdc, mdea, 2cb, 2ce, 2cc. datura, ayahuasca, ketamine (regretamine) and coke. wouldn't touch crack or heroin with a 15 foot barge pole though.

i agree, it does NOT fuck up your life if youre responsible.i have the best mathematics in school, on every sports team, nice job paying for nice clothes, all kinds of friends, and having fun. it makes me happy, with it, i dont want to cut myself, so i think it does me good.
