Okay, I'm guessing this is a topic this place is lacking. I've gone back a few pages and haven't seen anything to do with acne and it has a huge part to do with puberty. So I got a crop of pimples when I was in seventh grade. At the time, it wasn't that bad because they were on my chin and within a week they were gone. 8th grade, the same thing happens except they spring up all over my face and won't go away. I am in tenth grade now and have been finding multiple ways to treat my acne without having to resort to a dermatologist. But I notice that most of my pimples are in my chin area and I'm lucky to have small pores/closed pores. I use a scrub and after that I clean off my face with one of those cleansing pads. It seems to work a little in the sense that I don't get new bumps on my face. But I'd like to know:

So, has anyone had similar issues with acne? Are you still battling it? What scrubs, etc do you us? Does that usually work? Do you cover your acne up with anything? What sort of advice would you give to anyone suffering from acne (on a general stand point please because everyone has different skin types)? How long have you had acne? Is it a huge problem? Why? If it's not a huge problem, why?

I have had acne since 8th grade. It was maybe one tiny pimple. Didn't get much more than 5 and they were so small, I could barely see them. 9th grade, the beginning of the year, I was basically fine, but it started getting worse. Around January, this year, it was bad. But it wasn't over yet. Over the summer, it spread. Now I have acne on my arms and upper chest. I have been taking medicine for it for about a month now. It is getting better everyday.

Anyway, for acne. If it's really bad, best decision would be to talk to a dermatologist, or your regular doctor. That's what I did. Now I take a pill after I wake up and before I go to bed. I also have this cream, which at first will make your acne more red, but it will get a ton better after that. If you want the name of the cream, I can give it to you in a PM. You need a prescription for both. Also using a lot more shampoo (I used a little amount before) goes a long way.

Now the only acne that seems to want to stay is on my neck. And I hate it. But it's going away too.

Had since late grade 6, and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere at the moment. Have used those pointless clean pad things that u don't need a subscription for, and those do shit. So I just try to minimize it by washing my face 2 or 3 times a day, and make sure to clean ur hair well to, greasy hair really contributes to this.

I've been quite lucky when it comes to acne.
I've had one spot for about 2 years and about 5 on and off.
Barely any stay more than a few days. Just wash your face, that's all I do/did.
