Gotta deal with my dad

So recently I was caught smokin weed by one of my friends dads who happens to be a cop, my parents were on vacation and when they got back they of course yelled at me and told me to quit which was easy enough and my mom has sorta forgiven me but my dad hasn't he looks at me like I totaly betrayed him he didn't even talk to me for two weeks and now all he talks to me bout is stuff he says I've done wrong. I know my uncles aparently made some bad decisions when they were younger mabye that has something to do with it . I really don't know what to do bout it though I need him to trust me again but idk how

Two things are necessary for this: don't do any pot or other illegal substances (in other words be good) and time. Time is going to be the key factor here and just try to keep your nose clean.

Be good and time will pass and your father will forget about it or if you really wanna trust you again as quikly as possible then why don't you talk to your mother and seek for help maybe your mother will have a self to self talk to your father and tell him to forgive him.
If you have good communication with your parents then it will be easy. :flowers::flowers:

Just don't do drugs ant more and depending on what type of dad u have you have to talk with him about it. And maybe it will work things out. Or if that don't work it is going to take time

DON'T DO DRUGS. I know this won't stop you. I know it won't. It's.. exhilarating. But you have to. For health and mental reasons. Don't do it for your Dad. Do it for you. He will begin to talk to you again. Just sit down and explain the situation to your father civilly. He should understand if he is an adult.

Simple solution is to sit down and talk to your dad; tell him why you smoked the cannabis and explain to him that you won't do it again.

If you don't want to get into trouble with the law when it comes to illicit drugs, don't take them.
