So, i want to add music to my iTunes from my windows media player.

is this do-able without jail breaking my ipod touch? (idk if theres even a jail break for the 3rd gen yet)

Im not super tech savvy, so simple instructions would be best, i can still do whatever, just make it understandable lol

When i had my old 2gen touch, i hated paying .99 for a song, and now that i have my 3gen, i really hate paying 1.29 for a song

... To jailbrake is to change the system on the iPod itself. What you want to do, is... find the music you want, drag it into iTunes.

Go to your "My Music" (unless you have it set to place your music else where) highlight all the files (alt + a) then drag it to itunes. Easy, done! :D

Even easier go into iTunes, click file go to add folder to library and select the music folder(s) then you got all the music.

The people at apple are crooks but they'll still let you use your current music. :D Just like Jack said Jail-breaking involves the hardware and nothing to do with music.
