Green Day Throwback?

Green Day's recent albums have included more modern rock "operas" (which i personally prefer to their older works) but who thinks their next album will be like a one-time "throwback" or older type of thei rmusic?

Can't tell, but I hope it's as good as their original stuff, like Dookie.

It seems that rock operas are really hitting well I think. I'm not sure about the next album, but I'm getting it. I'd like to see a good mixture of a rock opera and a regular rock album.

I think they will release what ever made them the most money thats hw most artiists decide :P

Well, they made more money in the underground in the late 80s/90s than they do now. They're probably the last true punk band left. It's amazing that they've lasted so long. I think they'll stick to whatever comes to mind in the studio. But I'm hoping they get a new album out in the next two years.
