For those of you that don't what the EOCT is, it is the End Of Course Test(Not the final). I don't know for sure if they have in any other states, though.
So, I just have a general question for those of you who know what it is. Do you have to pass the EOCT to pass the core class? I'm just wondering because I had to take a Math I today and yesterday, and it basically made me shit bricks. I'd rather not fail the class because I forgot some stuff. In the state of Georgia, they sort of curve, but I just want to know if you have to pass it with like a D or higher to pass the class. I'm not worried about it affecting my grade because I have a high B in my Acc. Math I class.

You don't have to pass the EOCT to pass the class. The EOCT is basically your final exam (15% of your grade) and all you need is a 70 or above final grade to pass the class.

The EOCT is very generously curved though. Don't stress about it.

Its been 2 and a half years since I graduated but I was in Georgia public schools too.

I know it is curved and all, but I asked my friend late last night and he said you did, but then I realized, "hey, they curve this pretty well, and and even if I did fail it, the curve would help me." So, I'm longer sad as fuck like I was last night and this morning. But if isn't required to pass the class, I will be so happy. And thanks for your help, Ant. :)
