I think it should be a member's only section due to the guest in there most likely being pedophiles that are aroused by the content. It's usually 90%/10% split in there, with members being the minority. Yes, I understand that they could just create an account. At least give them a hassle to see this content.

Some peope who aren't pedos just want to browse and get their question's answered without having to make an account.

It wouldn't work. If we make it a hassle for people to view P101, then that would get more over age people to join the forum which would give staff one hell of a ride, I'm sure. Plus, most people who browse are looking for help, but just want to stay a guest and not join. They just want a quick answer without having to go through a hassle registering. Keep it the way it is, I say.

P101 isn't member only, because we want people to be able to get answers to questions they may have without having to make an account.

The white padded room is member only because it's more of a private area. People post more private information in there.

I'm sure there are much better outlets that will answer their question more informatively. The section seems more like a convenience\comfort to members rather than a reliable source of information. So, honestly if they aren't here to discuss amongst the userbase, what is the point? Of course, this is all hypothetical. Most of the guest on P101 are pedophiles. :yeah:

Not everyone comes here to discuss puberty. They can come on here to see how they compare to the people who have made posts. It's not necessary for them to join or post their questions (since it's extremely likely any questions they have have been asked several times already).

You have no idea who the P101 guests are. Yes, it is true that some are likely pedophiles, however I wouldn't say most are. A great amount of people roam around the forums for some time before they actually join. Plus, why does it matter if P101 guests are pedophiles? They can't do anything to harm anyone by viewing P101 posts. Posters just have to learn not to be dumbasses and stop giving any personal private information out.

If someone can actually get off by reading about little boys penises, well, they need help, but really, no harm is done.

How exactly was I implying that I do? Yes, I suspect there to be some pedophiles, but I also suspect most of the P101 guests to simply be pre-teens or teens who are looking at questions. One can only suspect. (could do random IP searches, I suppose to see what other Internet activity they are doing, but it really isn't necessary.)

You have no idea who the guests are, regardless of how you found the forum.
If there are older people looking at p101 (Which I do think there is) then there's very little we can do about it.

If we made it members only then people would make pointless accounts, which is no better than loads of guests. I can't remember where, but a mod said that p101 was probably what brought the majority of members here in the first place; then they branched out from p101 into the rest of the forum.
This is what I done, I came here looking for answers and advice about puberty stuff. Then when I had my answers I started to pick up lots of information from the more experienced members and began to answers the new members questions like other people did for me.

I don't think that p101 should be members only; because then we would not only have many pointless members, but we would probably lose allot of could-be-members.
