I do, unless I trust them. I usually say I got into a accident and tell them not to worry.

Well, I normally have them out of view i.e. Upper Arm, Upper Leg, Neck, Chest, Stomach, and sometimes arms and lower legs. I

I normally do give excuses when they are found. Usually, I just say it happened in Karate or I fell or something. What ever works for the situation. Or if I am in a pissy mood I just say I don't know and walk away. This is not usual though.

people don't see me as the type of person who would cut anyway so i have no trouble getting them to believe me . sometimes i wish i could just scream at them and tell them that I'M NOT THIS HAPPY PERSON THEY SEE ME AS and YES I DO CUT MYSELF TO TAKE AWAY THE PAIN !

sorry if that's not my place to say. It's just, although it's a good thing to not be hiding it from everyone, i think you need someone more there for you.

My friends dont really notice and on the occasions they do i just make up sumthing like i got in a fight or i was attacked by my cousins cat. But they normally believe and dnt worry

i hide them from my friends because they get super worried :) theyr amazing.

when people notice i would use the "i ran into a tree"
"it was an accident i had in my DT class"
"my CAT !" ... lol i don't even have a cat :D

Um..one of my friends knows straight away when ive done it, i can't hide from her.

But usually because mine are randomly placed i say i got caught in a wire fence

My cat bit me and BROKE THE SKIN, and scratched me till I bled.. Sometimes I just let her, no need for excuses if she actually did attack me

When I cut fresh cuts were never shown. Ever.

Scars when people do ask, I was attacked by a porcupine. Its silly but it makes it so no one asks further.

If it's somebody that I know, I'll tell them the truth.

At work though, sometimes customers will ask about them.
I tell them that a deer hit my windshield,
So I put my arms up to block the glass from my face and torso.
Though one time, after I spewed out my lie, a lady was like,
"Oh, okay. For a second there I thought it was self-injury. I work with people who are self-injurers and I've seen a lot of scars like that.".
Another time I got a rather odd response from a man,
"Phew. For a second there, I thought that you were being abused and I was going to have to take some names and kick some guy's ass!"

I usually just say it was a street cat. Saying it was a house cat doesn't really seem believable. If that doesn't work ill say, "Oh wait it wasn't a street cat. Im thinking of something else. It was from when I fell off a tree. I was helping my little cousin get his damn kite but slipped and some sharp ass branches cut me."

Basically i lie i tld one person i trusted needless to say that was a stupid thing to do so ya i just say my dog scratched me cuz i was teasing him with the chew toy

"My kitty" does all the cuts. All the ones on my fingers are actually my cat, but then that's the story I tell. And once, I sorta went a little overboard with the scissors. My friend saved me when I was asked about it and she made up a story about how I was playing with my sister and fell into a thorn bush =P
