I am currently writing a book about a first person murder action from the POV of a 10yo. Any suggestions of where I should take it?

I'm afraid that you're going to have to share more detail in order for any real input to be possible.

Avoid the use of complex vocabulary and sentence structure, where it pertains to the protagonist's thoughts and speech - which is going to take up a majority of the content.
