:what:Okay, Yes.. I'm a girl but bare with me.. So, i was giving my boyfriend a blowjob and a part inbetween the head of his penis and a little after his balls was lighter than the rest. I asked him why and he said because he was circumsized. I'd heard of that before and knew what it was so i believed that was a reasonable answer and that all guys have it. But, heres my question..

Some believe it is for hygiene, some for religious or cultural reasons. Even medical reasons.

If you stay intact, you may either have a normal development or it may result in some complications with regard to the foreskin. But mostly nothing bad will happen if someone remains uncircumcised.

Some girls are circumcised but it is usually referred to as genital mutilation.

Most American boys are circumcised at birth either because of family tradition or hygiene reasons though it is much rarer in the rest of the world except for certan African contries and muslim countries were it is often done as a rite of passage ether into puberty or into manhood.

Some guys who aren't done at birth will have to get it done later because of tight foreskin. I wish I had bee done at birth because it really sucks to have to get it done later.

As for girls, it's done it some countries to desensitize a girl by removing he clitoris which is considered mutilation but it could also remove he clitoral hood I think which just leave it more exposed but I don't know any medical reason for doin that.

In a developed world were people keep it
clean and when patners use condoms an uncut is probably just as good as cut but the world health organization has recommended it in a lot of the world to reduce AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases that can live under the foreskin if it isn cleaned

i dont know why parents get there kids circumsized?? i personally think its easier to handle with. the cleaning and all that other good stuff. and i dont think anything like this happens to girls, at least not that i know of :). if they dont they dont. if they do they do, but i think its more healthier for the penis to be circumsized. :)

It is an unnecessary american practice... most parents are mislead into thinking that it will prevent sexual problems and keep cleaner. The truth is that in current time most shower everyday, so hygiene is not the real reason. I honestly wish I had foreskin so my head would be protected. It was made to be protected and moist, without the foreskin it is constantly rubbing your underwear and wearing out.

I would highly recommend not to circumcise your kids, let them decide for themselves! Foreskin can be fun and has many nerves that can intensify and sexual activity.

nothing bad. you just have to clean under that skin during the shower. the only thing is that on a few boys, the skin is too tight, so he may have to get it removed.

second, people should stop calling each other liers about this issue.

FACT: circumcision reduces transmition of AIDS
FACT: circumcision reduces transmition of other stds
FACT: circumcision is not as effective as a condom...mutch better to use condom than get cut but that's an opinion

yeah it would be best if everyone used a condom but not always possibly. In a developed country routine circumcision is probably unnecessary but that doesn't mean we should be yelling at each other. As for sensation...my dick feels great when I Jo and don't mind being cut. Yeah some people probably lose sensation but Im pretty sure I saw a recent study how it doesn't affect sensation...if this debate continues I'll try to find it.

I think it is mama's who get that done for some weird reason. I was circumcised as a baby and I SOOOOOO wish they had left me "un-mutulated". I hope every guy here who says being cut is better and easier do you know you're missing most of your penis???? With foreskin there's way more sexual pleasure and it protects the head of your penis. When cut your penis head develops a tight rough skin to keep itself from getting harmed.I hate being cut it sucks big time.
