Just yesterday I saw you walking
and today you are not talking
I seen you earlier but i didn't know
that in a couple hours you would go

you were here and now you are gone
but i believe your soul lives on
i seen the site where you took your last breathe
and for sure it was an early death

You were young just about on your own
but soon you will be laid under heavy stone
i wish i could see you grow a little older
but the streets you now walk are a little golder
