Hi people. I am going to take synthesizer (keyboard) lessons and once i get really experienced, which wont be for a very ling time, i want to have like special effect lights like kanye west used on his glow in the dark tour. Not exactly like those effects. I want to hook up a few strobes to the synthesizer, if it is possible, so when i play the lights follow the beat. So when i do get experienced i can just have my own little light show. And this is just a thought. If i get extremely experienced and want to perform something for my school, just a though dont forget, on stage, how would i get all those special effects. such as fog machine, i will buy them, all the special lights like kanye used, etc etc. how would i do that. just a thought. But i really want to know how. any advice.

As awesome and epic as that may be, there is no way to do such a thing. You can't (as far as I know) have some type of hookup between your keyboards and lights. If you want a light show, you need a cue system. By using cues, you will be able to coordinate the lights by pushing buttons to patterns that you make. If you want special effects for your keyboard, you need get a really good one (like a KORG) and be able to transfer MIDIs or use generics on said keyboard.
