We lay down, drawing square flowers in the sky,
A picnic in the countryside, pitting dandelions against fireflys,
The winds echo sung our perfect harmony,
A handful of people surround but it felt like you and me,
We connected, felt electric, it did,
I lent in, but hesistated,
You lunged forward, and our heads collided,
To fall on the floor, laughing like before,
The kiss turned heat, in the middle of the street,
Wonder what your parents would think,
As they were walking: by
Its been 5 years since that day,
When you turned your back on me,
I took a ride, on my motorbike, watching the stars one night,
And my blue bird took me, to that particular roadside,
And i sat, and watched your house, and thought of how,
You'd be with that other guy now,
I almost smiled for you, you were my girlfreind then and my best freind,
And god how i miss them' strawberry ashes.
A picnic in the countryside, pitting dandelions against fireflys,
The winds echo sung our perfect harmony,
