Keep getting signed out

Recently when I've been online I find that I keep getting signed out randomly. Sometimes I log on and immediately have to log back in again.

No one knows my password - I, in fact, changed it a few weeks ago because I thought it was someone trying to log on as me.

I remember someone else had this problem a while ago and they had to clear their cookies or cache for it to start working again. I'm pretty sure that's how it fixed but it doesn't hurt to try.

My cache gets cleared every time I close Firefox so I've just cleared my cookies. Hopefully that will sort it!

Ok, clearing my cookies didn't solve my problem as I've had to sign in again after only a couple of minutes inactivity.

I can't find any other solution all of them say clear your cookies and restart the browser but I'll search around some more.

This used to happen with me when I used IE7... Now I use Google chrome and it's fine.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. I signed in no less than 5 times just now and each time I was signed out immediately after the "Thank you for logging in..." message was displayed.

I had that happen once, to me. First I wasn't able to post anything, it wouldn't go through. And then after a few minutes of this I got signed out and couldn't sign back in.

For some strange reason I was able to log in and stay logged in only when I unchecked the "remember me" box. Ater a little while it sorted itself out and I could check the box again and have it work fine.

Try using another browser, is the confined to just the one browser or others too?

When I had the problem, I was using Google Chrome. Carole's using Firefox. I think I tried logging in with Firefox that time, but I don't remember if it changed anything.

Do you have the same problem using internet explorer, Carole?

I'm just trying it out on IE while looking for any updates for Firefox - IE seems to be alright atm.
