OMG! I'm in the very same situation for 2 years now! Yeah, it's soul-crushing and heartbreaking, but still there are worse feelings in the world. And I say this, because I have been through a lot of things,through loss, grief, belief in friendship (and then it turned that I have almost no real friends) and all these things suck! I advise you either to give it a try with this guy, because if you don't you may feel awful afterwards because of the missed opportunity, or to make the best effort to forget him and to ignore him in order to find someone wayy cooler than him!
