What symptoms would they be? try asking the person. Pretty sure only a psychiatrist can diagnose you as a "Psychopath". I'm sure more people would be telling you how crazy you were if you were truly a Psychopath

Psychopathy isn't a psychiatric illness because it's not officially in the DSM-IV-TR nor ICD-10. It's more of a legal term than anything else, although people can be said to have it. The most widely accepted test is the PCL-R (Psychopathy Checklist - Revised). There are two "factors" in it and you score the answers on a three-point scale. Each factor has various items on it reflecting psychopathy. Depending where in the world you are, you'll need a different minimum score to be deemed a psychopath and different research papers use different minimum scores.
If you want a medical or psychiatric diagnosis, then in North America the closest thing is Anti-Social Personality Disorder or if you're in Europe, Dissocial Personality Disorder. The two aren't 100% the same, although they're pretty similar. Generally a true psychopath has those personality disorders, however, a person with APD or DPD generally doesn't qualify to be a psychopath.
If your friends are saying you're a psychopath, chances are they don't know what it actually is. There are different kinds of psychopaths, such as Type A and Type B, although there are other types.
If you're very interested in it, then read the book called The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us by Dr. Robert Hare. He's probably the expert on psychopathy and is the one who made the PCL and PCL-R (along with other people). In it he describes how the PCL-R works, the traits of a psychopath, real-life examples of how they interact (although they're all anonymous), conversations with them in prisons or forensic psychiatric institutions, etc... .
Online mental illness tests usually aren't that good and regardless of the result, they don't mean you have a certain illness.
