For some reason, I'm extremely scared of anything paranormal. Even if it isn't real (I'm not sure if it is or isn't), I get extremely scared. At night, I can't even go downstairs because of my fear. I'm scared to move. When I'm alone (at any time of day, as long as I've been up for a few hours) I can't move from one spot to another, I'm too scared. I hold a knife with me because of it.

I used to see these little demon thingies in my doorway. (Although I believe this was just a childhood thing, not reality at well)

I can't be alone without being scared shitless.

Thoughts/help?

I used to have a fear like that. It might be hard, but just close your eyes, think of a comfortable place, and count to your favorite number. That always worked for me, and to this day when I get freaked out, it still works.

At first, the method is kind of hard. It's really easy to just lose focus of what your thinking of and start worrying about what is scaring you. But do everything you can to keep in your mind, and block out the world.

Yeah I feel that way also.....The only way to get rid of my fears is to listen to music or maybe dance and I also sing when I'm alone and scared.......
I keep telling myself that the things I'm scared of isn't real but that didn't help me much

Well. I am not used to my house at all. So when I got out into the kitchen if I see a screw driver I pick it up and walk with it. Some lights don't work so I am forced to use my own vision or cell phone light. It is actually creepy because the area I live in there was a Serial Killer that had like 8 bodies in his basement caught. So now whenever I go downstairs I am like super scared.

Another thing I do when I am alone is yell and sometimes when I get home alone late I threaten because I feel as if someone is in the house with me.

I used to be like that, now I have very little fear of such things.
I do believe in things like that, to a certain extent.
I don't know why I stopped being scared but It just doesn't bother me any more.
