I am not ugly or anything, I just got a bit of acne. I cant find the right person because all of the girls are mean to me or just ignore me. I need help to find the best way to stand out more. Its just getting annoying by being ignored.

I also have another question. My sister keeps saying its easier in high school to find someone. Is that true?

You're probably not very interesting. Most people aren't.

It is, but the relationship will suck, most undoubtably.

try anything, maybe doing more school activities, you could join sports teams, theres alot you can do just think of whats going to be best for you.

Naw, everybody does those, those aren't interesting. Go read some awesome books and contemplate life and work on becoming wittier and a natural quirkiness will develop on its own. Watch foreign films, look into stuff you never thought a lot about before, and stop worrying if everything you do might be 'weird' to others. As you become more interesting, yeah, certain people will start to dislike you (probably a bunch), but the most worthwhile folks you'll ever meet will suddenly find you just as worthwhile.

Ehh...

I've read plenty in my life, by authors that held ideas close to mine, and others that did not, in plenty of different languages.

I've also watched plenty of movies in 汉语 just for kicks (I'm a huge wuxia flick buff).

Becoming an intellectual is not worthwhile in high school. Not even college. They're still at the stage where being smart = LOL.

My advice to get a girl at the high school level? Get a job. Some girls aren't shallow like that. At that point in life, most are. Of course, don't except a meaningful or fulfilling relationship. Just sayin'.

That's no excuse to be uncultured and boring.

I agree there.

But if you're going to educate yourself, don't do it for the girls.
