Many things have phases, you're leaving us guessing what you mean from about 10000 possibilities. If you mean phases of puberty, There aren't any real phases - everyone grows different things at different speeds. You cant say itll go penis>armits>pubes>nipples, etc. as itll happen differently for everyone.

its either real, or just hormones, you have to make that decision for yourself tho.

It depends on who you're talking about. Many teenagers go through this phase where they question their sexuality, and can be attracted to the same sex. You may be straight, Bisexual, or maybe even Gay. But, you'll figure it out later on in puberty.

To answer you're original question, it varies by person.

If you are a young teen, it may pass quickly, slowly, or not at all. Its hard to say if at all. If you feel more emotionally attracted than physically, that may be a bigger indication that you're homosexual or bisexual

This particular "phase" might not be a phase at all. You might turn out to be like that for the rest of your life, no one can tell you that.
However if it is a phase then it could last anywhere from a few days to 2 or 3 years. No one can actually tell you that either, it's most likely that it will last a few month though.

You're not going through a stage. Some people feel that, some don't. But try to remember that it could go away.
Also, remember this: Being gay is being not only sexually attracted to men, but also mentally. Right now, and throughout your life, if you aren't willing to go out with a guy you are NOT gay. If you would go out with a guy, then yeah. There are exceptions to this. If you have constant gay sex, I think that still makes you gay. Notice how I said think. There are no specific rules to being gay, so I could not tell you the definite social description of a gay person. If you are simply attracted sexually to men, you probably aren't gay. This means you could jack off to guys having sex, or you get turned on by guys, or you have slight sex with guys, or any combination.
