Portable dvd player??

I broke my portable DVD player's lid thing (off the hinges) that covers the place where you put the cd in like 2 years ago. (sorry I have no other way to explain it lol.) Anyway, I kept the lid and if I fit it in there it still works. But today I couldn't find the lid and I looked everywhere. Is there any way of finding a way to close it with something else??

If you call the company that makes it, I'm sure they'll send you a new part.

Somewhere there will be a switch that tells the player that the lid is closed, if you can find it just wedge something in there or glue it pressed down.. or get a replacement if you want it done properly.
