To me, it means wanting to be around someone whether you like them or not, even if you're introverted and prefer your own company.
But, I could be wrong. I don't know yet.

Mutal respect, closeness and friendship ^_^ I don't think you can really love someone until you have/had these.

"Loving someone isn't just a matter of buying them popcorn and calling them pet names; it is having the responsibility of having their heart in your hands!"
To me, loves something you cant replace. Its like a drug. Once you've felt it, you cant let go as easily as you'd like to, no matter how much pain it may bring. Its not something you can turn on and off. Its not easy. You know when you love someone as much as you possibly can because you know deep down, their the only ones that are worth suffering for, even if they cant see it themselves. Its like walking on broken glass. But its worth it when you find them, even if you dont know its them until their gone.

Love, for me, is like the feeling of desire for the one you love. When I was in love, I just wanted to be with that person forever and never leave his side :P

An attachment were you feel honest, caring, and wanting to be with that person. Returned, if not it's not love, in my eyes.

You can decide if that's good or bad.

That, makes more than perfect sense.
Love is a four-letter word in the English language that is subject to a wider array of interpretations and manifestations than any other, many of which appear to contradict one another in some way.
Thus, after a long period of confusion, I have stopped attempting to analyze the true essence of the word. It is a concept. That is all. I largely avoid the use of this word in serious discussions, because I have yet to gain any real understanding of what it is used to convey.

Love to me....
Love is the ability to look a person in the eyes and know you can't live without that little glint of light in their pupils. Holding their hand and getting a random squeeze that makes you smile for the next 3 hours. Getting a slight peck on the cheek and your knees go weak. Love is when you can see a person at their worst and still think they're the most perfect person you've ever seen. Love is appreciating every single hair on their body and treasuring every second of their time that they spend with you. Love is happines. Love is pain. Love is willing to fight for the one you love, to put your life on the line. Love is holding onto their photograph with a deathgrip, even when you're unconsious and in a world all your own. Love is embracing their family as your own, and loving each and every family member as if you've known them your whole life. Love to me is knowing you have someone that makes your life worth while. It's the reason you wake up in the morning, and stay awake all night. It's when you finally know that reality is finally better than you could ever dream about. Love is when you can get the tiniest paper cut and your person will spend hours asking if you're okay. Love is falling asleep on the phone at two in the morning, after hours of speechless comfort. Love is being in their arms and know that the world is finally holding YOU. Love is, to me, heart break. Knowing that the person you love might not love you back, yet being happy for them with someone else. Love is taking the time to stop crying and post "cute(:" on their photos together. Love is wanting that person to be happy no matter what. To me, love is holding onto them, even when they let go. Love, is waiting for them to come back. Even if it takes years. Love.... is what I have<3

Love is an amazing bond between two people. It gives you an incredible rush just to think about the person you are in love with. Love is something that you know you've felt when you smile because you think of seeing that person. Love goes beyond the chemical form of our lives and takes on it's own power. It's something we cannot control. It brings us closer to people than we've ever been before.
Most importantly love is our own feeling. It's something that is completely our own and is different for each of us.

Love to me is when i know that im being looked after and being treated the right way, as guy/girl should. Knowing that they love you too and they constantly tell you that they love you and not only over the phone. Love is when you don't worry about anything when your around her/him. Love is not only the GOOOD sex but also communication and laughter and being friends or bestfriends as well as together. Love to me is everything (: i hope this helps x:wub:

These are such beautiful answers. To me love cannot be described or defined. It's something that you can only feel and only with the right person. Loving someone is much different than being in love and I think that's where people get confused. Being in love is like a blindness to everything but that person. Loving someone is where you care deeply. Both are feelings that indescribable. My answer sucks but words can't even begin to cover what love means to me.

Being so close to someone that you know what they're thinking without them breathing a word, or a wave of a numinous feeling (for example, the way that the most beautiful music makes you feel)
